Alley Cat's Pizzeria is a vibrant and bustling pizzeria known for its delicious New York-style pizzas and energetic atmosphere. We are looking for a hands-on General Manager with a big personality as well as excellent team management and organisational skills. If you're passionate about Italian cuisine, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love leading from the front, we want to hear from you.

As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful ongoing operations of our Kings Road location. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, from front-of-house operations to staff recruitment and training.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control, to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and operational goals.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and support to front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Uphold Alley Cat's Pizza's standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service at all times.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community to drive business growth and brand loyalty.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a General Manager in the restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine; previous experience working in pizzerias is preferred but not necessary.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and remain calm under stress.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to other Alley Cats Pizza locations as required.
