Operating across multiple high-performing categories, the business is recognised for its ambitious growth agenda, significant brand investment and collaborative approach with customers. As Senior Category Manager, you'll play a key role in driving growth across two of the UK's most significant grocery retailers. This is a high-impact strategic position, combining category expertise, commercial thinking and strong customer leadership to unlock opportunities and deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of category strategies across two key accounts, identifying opportunities to accelerate growth across the portfolio.
  • Build and strengthen senior-level relationships with key stakeholders across both retail partners.
  • Develop and deliver joint business plans that bring together category insight, retailer priorities and commercial opportunities.
  • Manage promotional strategy, trade investment and in-store execution to maximise performance and return on investment.
  • Partner closely with marketing, supply chain and finance teams to deliver effective commercial plans.
  • Analyse market, shopper and category data to influence decision-making and identify future growth opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have a strong track record within FMCG category management, with experience partnering strategically with key grocery customers. You'll be commercially driven, highly analytical and able to turn insight into clear actions that deliver results. Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to navigate a fast-paced, collaborative and matrixed environment. A balance of strategic thinking, commercial curiosity and hands‑on execution will be key to succeeding in this role.
