Key Responsibilities
- Lead category management relationships with key grocery retailers to achieve category influence and grow sales
- Deliver optimum execution for the Category across range reviews, display, promotions, and seasons
- Influence retailers through clear, insight-led rationale
- Lead, motivate, and coach category managers, setting clear priorities aligned with category vision and business objectives
- Deliver targets against key perfect store KPIs
- Support longer-term planning with customers, leading with category vision insights
The Ideal Candidate
- We're looking for an experienced category manager with a proven track record of individual results in the UK grocery sector.
- Strong knowledge of category management within the UK grocery sector
- Excellent problem-solving skills for both customers and internal stakeholders
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and influence at all levels
- Line management experience, with a track record of developing people
- Ability to prioritise effectively for both self and team
Location
South-West London (3 days/week in the office or out with customers)
