An excellent opportunity to lead Category & Insights for the on-trade working with a portfolio of popular heritage drinks brands. Known for quality, sustainability and continuous growth, the business built a strong reputation across the UK market and are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with someone who can drive category performance in the pub, bar and hospitality channels.
The Role
- Lead category insights and shopper analysis to inform commercial strategies and customer presentations
- Build and deliver joint business plans with national and regional On Trade accounts
- Manage trade investment and promotional activity to maximise ROI
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing and supply teams to ensure seamless execution
- Identify opportunities for range optimisation, ranging wins and space growth
- Present category recommendations and business reviews to senior stakeholders
- Track performance against KPIs and adapt plans to deliver results
The Ideal Candidate
- You’ll have solid category management or commercial experience within FMCG, ideally with exposure to the drinks sector or On Trade channel.
- You’ll be comfortable interpreting data, building compelling stories, and influencing customers at multiple levels.
- Strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
- Experience using Nielsen, CGA or similar data sources would be beneficial.
Location
South-West, UK (3 days/week in the office)
