The role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
We're looking for someone who's equally comfortable diving into data as they are standing in front of clients, shaping stories that influence strategy at the highest level.
The Role
As Insight Lead, you'll take ownership of insight creation across a diverse mix of syndicated and bespoke consultancy projects. You'll combine data from multiple sources with your expert industry knowledge to deliver clear, actionable recommendations that help clients navigate the evolving landscape.
This is a hands-on leadership role, giving you full autonomy to lead projects from proposal to delivery, manage client relationships, and work closely with internal teams across research, sales, and marketing to ensure the insights you create are both commercially impactful and creatively engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of insights across the foodservice and hospitality space
- Work directly with clients to understand their needs, craft proposals, and deliver solutions that add real value
- Lead a small but talented team, setting high standards for data storytelling and insight delivery
- Develop new ideas for products, methodologies, and approaches to keep the offer ahead of the curve
- Be a visible ambassador, presenting at industry events and forums, representing both the insight function and wider business
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering insight in a fast-paced environment – agency, supplier, retailer, or operator backgrounds all welcome
- Strong understanding of foodservice, hospitality or out-of-home markets
- Confident presenter, capable of building trust and influencing at senior level
- Technical know-how – data literate, with strong visualisation skills and an eye for impactful storytelling
- Collaborative mindset – able to work cross-functionally and bring teams together to deliver great work
- Passion for food & drink, with a finger firmly on the pulse of trends shaping the sector
