A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Category Manager to join a leading branded food manufacturer with a strong presence in UK and global retail. This role offers the chance to drive category growth and influence positive change in a dynamic FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end category management, from insight generation to market execution
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers to drive sustainable category growth
- Elevate category conversations with retailers through data-driven insights and strategic thinking
- Champion the voice of the shopper and customer within the business to create win-win-win opportunities
- Drive the category agenda and foster category-first thinking across the organisation
- Manage and develop a Category Executive, fostering functional talent within the team
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in FMCG roles, particularly in brand-led category management
- Proven track record of partnering with and influencing UK Grocery Multiple Retailers
- Experience in leading external agency relationships and agency management
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with various data sources
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to influence at all levels
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to identify business opportunities
Location: Surrey
Package: Β£68,000 + Β£5K Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
