An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Category Manager to join a leading global confectionery business with a strong UK presence. This role will see you partnering with one of the UK's largest grocery retailers to drive category growth and deliver joint business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key partner to a major UK grocery retailer and its subsidiaries, using category insight to support joint business growth.
  • Deliver objective, data-led recommendations to drive distribution, share of shelf, and range optimisation.
  • Support range reviews, influence NPD plans, and shape in-store execution through clear merchandising principles.
  • Analyse category performance, monitor market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Generate meaningful shopper and category intelligence to inform decision-making across the business.
  • Develop and execute compelling sell-in stories for innovation and range extensions.

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re seeking an experienced Category Manager with a strong background in FMCG, ideally with experience working on retailer-facing projects. You should have:

  • Proven experience in Category Management within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong understanding of category dynamics, market trends, and consumer behaviour.
  • Proficiency in using market research tools such as Nielsen, Kantar, or Circana.
  • Experience in areas such as in-store activation, shelf presence, or range reviews.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence decisions through insight and storytelling.

Location: West London - 3 days office / 2 days home

Package: 50,000 - 55,000 + Bonus + Benefits
