With a commitment to innovation and consumer-driven insights, they partner with leading retailers to deliver high-quality products and drive category growth. As they continue to expand their commercial team, they are seeking a data-savvy Category Executive to support the development and execution of key category and marketing strategies.
The Role
Reporting to the Category Manager, this role is pivotal in delivering actionable insights to shape commercial strategy. The Category Executive will manage and analyse market data from multiple sources, supporting internal teams and retail partners with key insights to drive sales and category growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the commercial team in developing short- and long-term strategies across multiple channels.
- Managing and delivering market and consumer data insights from platforms such as IRI, Kantar, and IGD.
- Collaborating with Account Managers and NPD teams to develop initiatives that enhance market performance.
- Leading the internal communication of market trends and category performance.
- Supporting marketing strategy execution across multiple communication channels.
The Person
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience in an FMCG Category & Insights role or within a data agency.
- A passion for food and drink.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data platforms such as IRI, Kantar, and IGD.
- Commercial acumen with a curiosity to understand market trends.
- The ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and retail customers.
- A proactive, driven mindset with a structured and organised approach.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to present insights and recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
