Our agency is seeking to fill an entry-level outside sales role in a new territory. The primary responsibility is developing a new book of business through in-person sales calls to businesses focusing on new client acquisition and retention.

Position Overview

  • Outside direct sales dedicated to your own territory.
  • Comprehensive training will help connect with small and medium-sized businesses across sectors.

Core Responsibilities

  • Utilize custom Salesforce CRM to curate leads and generate clients within territory.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text as needed.
  • Schedule meetings with potential and existing clients to understand insurance needs.
  • Attend scheduled calls and meetings with sales manager and team.
  • Visit new businesses, develop relationships with local owners, follow up referral leads, and re‑service existing clients.
  • Build and nurture your own client portfolio.
  • Collaborate with sales manager to set monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Plan and adhere to weekly schedule; submit weekly plan to manager.
  • Record daily work stats and sales activity updates each work day.

Additional Qualifications

  • Pass a high-level pre‑employment background check.
  • Active driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your resident state (or willing to obtain; training and fees reimbursed).
  • Bachelor’s degree or ≥4 years post‑high school work experience (or within 6 months of graduation).
