Job Description About the role
We are looking for part time care assistants; with the added option of overtime. Full in house training provided including conducting the CQC Care Certificate, Diplomas level 2 & 3. Carers will work with existing and new clients in and around Allestree, Darley Abbey, Quarndon and Duffield.
Working as part of a friendly team, you will deliver person centred care in the client's home. As a company, we are committed to providing a safe workplace. Safeguarding policies are in place to ensure the safety of both our staff and clients, and we require staff to uphold and ensure these policies are adhered to.
Responsibilities include supporting clients with:
- Washing & bathing using their preferred methods
- Toileting requirements and incontinence needs, whilst maintaining their privacy
- Administering medication
- Providing companionship, shopping trips, daily tasks, appointments
- Meal preparation
Specification
- Salary £13 per hour (Monday –Friday 7am – 8pm) to £14 per hour (Sat, Sun, BH, and after 8pm at night).
- 35p a mile allowance.
- UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential
- Early shift: 7am - 2pm / Late shift: 4pm - 10pm
- Flexibility with shifts
- Alternate weekends required
Contracted Hours
- 16hrs: 3 days
- 20hrs: 4 days
