We offer a wide range of opportunities to help students develop their aspirations, supported by a strong careers curriculum that enables them to move on to positive destinations after Year 11 or Year 13. The Careers Adviser will play a key role in this, supporting students throughout their journey and ensuring they receive high‑quality advice and guidance, alongside access to appropriate college, university, apprenticeship and employment opportunities.
This role is 30 hours per week, term time only, plus four additional days (training days/days during the summer holidays to support exam results). We are committed to flexible working and welcome discussions around flexible arrangements.

Qualifications
- Be a Level 6 qualified Careers Adviser with experience delivering high‑quality, impartial advice and guidance.
Responsibilities
- Support and inspire students to make informed decisions about their next steps, including college, university, apprenticeships and employment.
- Work collaboratively with pastoral and curriculum teams to support students and families.
- Deliver targeted support, including working with students at risk of becoming NEET.
- Contribute to the wider careers programme, including events, visits, assemblies and partnerships with employers and providers.
- Provide personalised support through careers interviews, plans and liaison with families and external agencies.
- Support key transition points, including GCSE and A Level results days.
- Communicate effectively, show strong organisation and contribute positively to whole‑school improvement.
