Allerton Bishop is a specialist pharmaceutical search firm delivering commercial and technical operations talent solutions across the UK and Europe. Founded in 2025, we have established a strong, high-quality client base across CDMOs, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech, and FMCG organisations.
We are now hiring a Recruitment Manager to build, scale and own the Contract & Fractional Recruitment practice — with a clear pathway to leadership and equity. This is a unique mandate for a career-minded recruiter who wants more — more ownership, more influence, and a genuine route to equity.

Working directly with a Founder — who has spent 20 years building and scaling contract recruitment businesses — you will learn how to win and deliver exclusive projects, hiring programmes, and long-term client partnerships at the highest levels of contract and fractional hiring. Our existing client base is across the UK and EU with ad-hoc clients in the US.
Your Role:
- Launch and scale a Pharmaceutical Contract & Fractional division (Pharma, Biotech, MedTech, CDMO, VC and Private Equity)
- Own full 360 delivery — generating revenue from day one
- Build on and further existing client partnerships across the UK and European markets
- Develop high-quality contractor and fractional executive networks
- Design your desk: pricing, delivery model, compliance, and contractor experience
- Hire, mentor, and build your own team with support and mentorship from the business leaders.
Your Profile:
- Proven contract recruiter, ideally within pharmaceutical or life sciences markets
- Strong track record of 360 billing and client ownership
- Ambition to build a team or business unit, not just a desk
- Commercially credible with clients — able to win and deliver high-value work
- Motivated by performance, accountability, and professional autonomy
