Allerton Bishop Search is searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a global pharmaceutical company to commercialise and launch drug products. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead complex development and launch projects for drugs in various dosage forms while owning relationships with leading CMOs, CDMOs, and CROs across the UK and Europe.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead cross-functional CMC programmes for tablets, capsules, liquids, and powder dose products.
  • Drive product development from formulation through scale-up, validation, and commercial readiness.
  • Manage all external manufacturing and research partners, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across technical, quality, supply chain, regulatory, and commercial teams.
  • Support CMC regulatory submissions and ensure full compliance with UK/EU GMP and development guidelines.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or Pharmacy.
  • Industry experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or consumer healthcare.
  • Proven experience in CMC project management within oral solid dose or small molecule pharmaceutical development.
  • Track record managing CDMO/CMO/CRO relationships and external manufacturing programmes.
  • Experience delivering development, tech transfer, scale-up, or product launch projects.
