Allerton Bishop Search is currently searching for a Global Supply Chain Manager for a biotechnology company with a global presence. The Global Supply Chain Manager will be based in England and will take responsibility for end to end supply chain activities across a global network.

Your responsibilities as the Global Supply Chain Manager will be:

  • Supply and Demand Planning for commercial and clinical products.
  • Manage contract manufacturing partners to deliver both drug substance and product.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to build mid and long term forecasting for global operations.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for all global programs while managing risk across the supply chain to mitigate disruptions.
  • Ensure robust cold chain logistics and compliance with GDP requirements.

Required Work Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree educated is preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience is essential.
  • Proven supply chain experience in a global or regional supply network.
  • Previous work experience in external supply is highly desirable.
