We are looking for a strong leader who can bring their experience within Continuous Improvement and help shape the strategies across all stages of production using their Six Sigma Green Belt experience. Experience within pharmaceuticals or manufacturing is not necessary, we are keen to hear from candidates who have the expertise to implement their knowledge within a GMP environment. You will be a strong communicator, able to work cross-functionally with the ability to influence and motivate.

The role involves the following:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of process improvement technology specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity whilst reducing repeat non-conformances and monthly scrapping caused by Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), utilising lean manufacturing, process improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Cost Savings: Identify opportunities for cost savings across the Worthing business through departmental collaboration and translate these opportunities into actual capacity, waste or cost savings utilising tools such as TIM WOODS and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee continuous improvement projects through the methodology of DMAIC or PDCA from conception to implementation, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Training, Development & CI Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the Worthing organisation, encouraging innovation and proactive problem-solving. Train and mentor staff in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques through a minimum of White Belt training workshops, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Performance Analysis: Assess and analyse current practices and compliance levels for effectiveness and efficiency, using data analysis tools to monitor the impact of implemented changes.
