Job Description
At DJS Antibodies, we are committed to creating the next generation of antibody therapeutics and improving outcomes for patients with life‑changing immunological diseases and cancers. As a biotech company within AbbVie, we combine the agility, team spirit and scientific focus of a biotech with the scale, resources and vision of a global pharmaceutical company. Having already advanced a number of drug candidates, we are excited to continue growing our portfolio and increasing our impact on patients’ lives.
A key part of achieving our vision is working with exceptional people, and we are now seeking an enthusiastic and talented Research Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or further develop their career in an industrial laboratory research environment, working on innovative projects while building a broad range of technical and scientific skills.
The successful candidate will thrive in a small, dynamic team and be eager to contribute across all aspects of research at DJS. DJS has developed an internal discovery platform focused on single B‑cell technologies, enabling us to rapidly generate new antibodies targeting pathologies associated with chronic inflammation and strengthen our drug discovery pipeline.
In this role, you will carry out laboratory experiments using cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, imaging and a variety of assay techniques to support therapeutic antibody discovery/development across DJS projects. You will play a key role as part of the team, contributing to the delivery of life‑changing therapeutics.
We are looking for a practical, organized and detail‑oriented individual who takes pride in getting the job done efficiently. Previous experience across a range of laboratory techniques is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
At DJS, we are passionate about fostering innovative scientists and delivering cutting‑edge science. The successful applicant will have excellent opportunities for career development, whether in scientific research or laboratory/operations management.
