Since its launch in 2023, this family-run restaurant has been renowned for its authentic dishes, including Kerala porotta, Gobi Manchurian, and fresh seafood specials. Combining traditional recipes with bold spices, Alleppey Kitchen provides a warm and welcoming dining experience in a relaxed English pub setting. We are committed to delivering quality food and exceptional hospitality, whether dining in, ordering takeout, or enjoying meals through delivery services like Just Eat and Deliveroo.

We are seeking a South Indian Chef to join our team in a full-time capacity at our Chesterfield location. The role involves:

  • Preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes
  • Creating menu items
  • Managing food quality and presentation
  • Ensuring the consistent use of traditional spices and techniques
  • Managing kitchen operations
  • Maintaining hygiene and safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in South Indian cooking styles, including expertise in Kerala cuisine and signature dishes

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with kitchen and service staff
