Allens Croft Primary School is a diverse, fullyinclusive two-form entry school, with three Resource Base classes, set inextensive grounds in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham. We are looking toappoint two committed, enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable and caring LunchtimeSupervisors. As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play an important rolein ensuring that our children have a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime. Youwill help to create a positive environment where children can eat, play andsocialise, while supporting their wellbeing and encouraging positive behaviour.
The job purpose is to supervisechildren during lunchtime and outdoor play, helping create rich, varied playopportunities that are safe but appropriately challenging. You will play anactive role in promoting positive behaviour, encouraging creative andindependent play, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all pupils.
Previous experience of workingwith children would be desirable, but full training and support will beprovided for the right candidate.
Thereare two roles on a 1-year fixed contract, term time only, 7.5 hours per week,Monday to Friday, working hours to be confirmed.

- Supervise children in the dining hall andplayground
- Encourage positive behaviour and support schoolrules
- Ensure the safety and well-being of allchildren
- Assist with mealtime routines and hygienepractices
- Work collaboratively with other staff members
- Communicate effectively with children and staffwith a good standard of spoken and written English
- Remain calm and supportive whendealing with challenging situations
- Understand the importance ofsafeguarding and keeping children safe
