Allendale Middle School's Head 7th Grade Volleyball Coach is responsible for overseeing the Volleyball team at Allendale Middle School. The mission of Allendale Public Schools is to educate, inspire, and support all students.
Description:
- Organize and work with the Athletic Director to lead, coach, and direct the middle school volleyball season.
Qualifications:
- Possess a great love of the sport and a high interest in helping individuals reach their highest potential.
- Good role model for student-athletes.
- Current knowledge of rules, fundamentals, teamwork and the ability to relate to and teach teenage students.
- Strong commitment to building a successful program for student-athletes.
- Evidence of successful coaching experience.
- Evidence of expertise in teaching the fundamentals of individual skills and team play.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
Job Requirements:
- Select, instruct, and coach the team through the season at practices and contests.
- Oversee the development of players at the middle school level.
- Create a positive learning experience for all members of the team.
- Maintain all records, statistics, and awards information.
- Maintain ongoing communication with players, parents, and media.
Language Skills: Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from the community, regulatory agencies or staff members.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
