About the Role
Allenby Commercial is a successful, privately owned property investment and development company. They are seeking a dynamic and skilled Estates & Properties Manager to oversee the management and performance of their extensive and diverse real estate portfolio across Hull and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of a respected, entrepreneurial property business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the property portfolio, ensuring all properties are maintained to a high standard and comply with relevant legislation.
- Develop and implement effective property management strategies to maximise occupancy, income, and long-term value.
- Lead lease negotiations, rent reviews, and renewals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, service providers, and stakeholders.
- Manage property budgets, expenditure, and financial performance.
- Oversee maintenance works, repairs, and refurbishment projects.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and property legislation.
- Identify and manage property-related risks, including insurance matters.
- Provide regular performance reports and updates to senior management.
- Identify and deliver initiatives to improve operational efficiency, cost control, and tenant satisfaction.
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and legal teams where necessary.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in estate and property management, preferably within the commercial real estate sector.
- Strong knowledge of property law, lease management, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and projects effectively.
- A proactive and solutions-driven approach.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field is desirable.
- Knowledge of Hull and the wider Yorkshire property market would be advantageous.
