Principal Transport Planner Competitive salary Bristol, Sheffield or Nottingham (UK) (hybrid working) Allen & York are excited to be working with one of the largest, independent town planning consultancies, with offices across England. Our client is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Principal Transport Planner to join the established team, providing a range of transport planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure design services to support development projects across the UK. You’ll have a background in either private practice or local Government, with experience in development planning and a good understanding of the development planning process in the UK. With comprehensive experience in highway/junction design and the completion of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Site Access Appraisals and Travel Plans, you’ll have strong technical skills and the ability to derive solutions to a range of problems. You’ll be a confident user of ARCADY/PICADY, TRICS, Tempro and AutoCAD. An excellent communicator, you’ll have strong interpersonal skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
