A
Environmental & Social Manager Location: London (Hybrid) 3 Office days a week Are you an experienced Environmental & Social professional looking to move beyond consultancy and take ownership of environmental and social performance across complex international infrastructure projects? We're partnering with a growing international EPC contractor delivering turnkey healthcare, digital and public infrastructure projects across Africa and Southeast Asia. With a small portfolio of high-value projects currently underway, this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping environmental and social outcomes from project development through to construction and operation. Working closely with internal stakeholders, lenders, regulators, consultants and local communities, you'll lead the management of Environmental & Social (E&S) requirements across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with international lender standards and national regulations. Lead and coordinate Environmental & Social activities across project lifecycles Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) Environmental & Social Management Plans (ESMPs) Environmental and social monitoring programmes Oversee specialist consultants and contractors Ensure alignment with international lender requirements, including IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and ECA expectations Engage with regulators, communities and project stakeholders to manage environmental and social risks effectively Significant experience delivering or reviewing ESIAs for infrastructure, energy, built environment or industrial projects Strong environmental management and regulatory compliance expertise Experience working to IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and international financing requirements Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills Experience working on international projects, particularly within emerging markets, would be advantageous Join a growing international EPC business with a strong project pipeline Work on a diverse portfolio of impactful infrastructure projects Hybrid London-based role with opportunities for international travel Opportunity to influence environmental and social performance at project and corporate level If you're an experienced ESIA and Environmental Management professional looking to work on complex international infrastructure developments, we'd love to hear from you.
