The Role
As an Environmental Due Diligence Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering Phase 1 Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) assessments across a diverse range of UK property types. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering environmental desk studies and Phase 1 EDD reports with appropriate technical guidance
- Undertaking and auditing site visits for straightforward assets (following training)
- Reviewing datarooms, third-party reports, and public datasets
- Collating and interpreting environmental, geological, hydrogeological, and regulatory data
- Managing elements of projects, including liaison with clients and subcontractors
- Working collaboratively across multiple projects and deadlines
About You
You are likely to have:
- A degree in an environmental or related discipline
- A solid understanding of environmental due diligence and UK environmental legislation
- Strong report-writing skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confidence communicating with clients, site managers, and internal teams
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
- A postgraduate qualification or a second European language would be advantageous but is not essential.
