Geospatial Operations Lead / Aerial Topographic SurveyorCambourne or Leeds | Hybrid & Flexible WorkingI'm working with a growing engineering consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Geospatial Operations Lead / Aerial Topographic Surveyor to take ownership of its surveying capability and play a key role in the growth of the division.Strong surveying experience is essential for this role. This position is suited to someone with a solid background in topographical surveying who also has experience with aerial survey techniques and is ready to take the next step into a broader technical and leadership position.You'll combine hands-on survey delivery with responsibility for managing projects, reviewing data quality, coordinating external survey partners and improving systems and workflows. The role will involve a mix of aerial photogrammetry, LiDAR and traditional topographical surveying, alongside exposure to TLS, SLAM and measured building surveys.We're looking for someone with:Around 5+ years' surveying experienceA strong background in topographical surveyingExperience with aerial surveying, photogrammetry and/or LiDARExperience using CAD and survey processing software such as Pix4D, Agisoft, DJI Terra or N4CEThe ability to manage survey projects from initial enquiry through to final data deliveryAn interest in developing into a leadership and operational roleThis is a genuine opportunity to move beyond purely technical delivery, take ownership of a growing surveying function and have a real influence on how the team develops.The role offers hybrid working, performance incentives, pension, 25 days' holiday and a clear progression route towards senior leadership.Discipline(s): Planning and Surveying, Impact AssessmentJob type: Permanent
