Allen & York are excited to be working with a leading, dynamic consultancy, specialising in offshore engineering, with an established international profile in large-scale submarine cable developments and operations. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Environmental Modeller. The successful candidate will be part of a specialist team, delivering exciting environmental modelling and impact assessment projects to clients in the UK and internationally.
You'll need to hold a relevant degree in science, engineering, mathematics or geography and have excellent data analysis and IT literacy skills. With experience of using predictive models, advanced data analysis and management tools, you'll be confident using modelling software, such as DELFT or MIKE and producing a high standard of scientific report writing. An excellent communicator, you'll enjoy liaising with clients, regulators and stakeholders and be comfortable managing work packages or projects. With great interpersonal skills, you'll enjoy collaborating with colleagues, working together to develop practical and quantified leading-edge solutions.
