If you're the type of person who doesn't just produce reports but questions the data behind them, this could be an excellent next step.
I'm working with
Vision1 Safety Solutions , a business built around improving safety and operational performance for some of the UK's leading manufacturing organisations.
They're looking for an Environmental Data & Utilities Performance Lead to take ownership of utilities performance across a major manufacturing site.
This is a genuinely high-impact position where your analysis will influence operational decisions, environmental performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
What makes this role different?
This isn't about updating spreadsheets and sending monthly reports.
Vision1 is looking for someone who takes ownership, challenges inconsistencies and gets to the root cause of issues.
You'll become the trusted expert for utilities performance data, working across electricity, gas, water and effluent systems to ensure the business has accurate information it can rely on.
You'll work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders, helping improve performance through robust analysis, meaningful insight and proactive problem-solving.
- What you'll be doing
- Owning the integrity and accuracy of utilities performance data.
- Identifying trends, anomalies and opportunities for improvement.
- Investigating data discrepancies and driving issues through to resolution.
- Producing clear, decision-ready reports and dashboards.
- Working collaboratively across departments to improve utilities performance.
- Supporting environmental and energy management initiatives.
- Ensuring reporting systems remain accurate, robust and audit-ready.
- What they're looking for
You’ll probably already have experience working in a utilities, environmental or analytical data role and enjoy turning complex datasets into meaningful business insight.
You’ll also bring
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including modelling, validation and error tracing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders across different teams.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your workload.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to improve processes rather than simply maintain them.
Experience within manufacturing, Power BI, Tableau, utilities metering or ISO 14001/ISO 50001 environments would be advantageous but isn't essential.
Why Vision1 Safety Solutions?
Vision1 Safety Solutions has built its reputation by helping clients create safer, more efficient workplaces.
Safety isn't just a value on the wall.
It's embedded in every project, every decision and every improvement they deliver.
As part of the team, you'll have the opportunity to influence environmental performance through high-quality data, work alongside experienced professionals and play a key role in delivering operational excellence for clients.
If you're looking for a role where your analytical skills will genuinely shape business performance rather than simply report on it, I'd be keen to speak with you.
