We are working with a leading international environmental consultancy to appoint a Senior Mine Closure Consultant to support complex mining projects globally. This role will see you leading mine closure strategies, plans and cost assessments across the mine life cycle, managing projects end-to-end and advising clients on regulatory compliance, rehabilitation and end land use. You will also contribute to audits, peer reviews, fieldwork and mentor junior consultants.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or similar
- Experience in mine closure (consulting preferred)
- Strong experience in closure costing, rehabilitation and planning
- Excellent technical report writing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of international mine closure legislation and guidelines
- GIS experience (ArcGIS/QGIS) advantageous
