Allen & York are excited to be working with an award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices across England. Our client is looking for a talented Associate Director of Ecology to join the established team. The successful candidate will lead the expansion of national ecology services across the Group and be involved in a diverse range of exciting projects across the UK.

You’ll have comprehensive experience in ecological surveys including Phase 1 Habitat Surveys, Ecological Impact Assessments, Biodiversity Enhancement & Management Plans, Natural England licence applications (bats, great crested newt and badger) and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments. You will have extensive experience in carrying out and co-ordinating biodiversity impact assessments, BNG option assessments for planning applications and drafting and agreeing Biodiversity Gain Plans.

An excellent communicator, you’ll be skilled in providing reports for planning submissions and discharging of conditions attached to planning permissions. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, with colleagues, clients and third parties.
