Allen & York are excited to be working with a leading non-profit organisation, representing the global tin industry, with a mission to drive sustainable and responsibly sourced tin through improved human rights, social, environmental and working conditions in the metal supply chain.

Our client is looking for a Sustainability Specialist who will have a pivotal role in helping the team, the organisation and its members navigate the evolving regulatory landscapes.

You will be educated to degree level with comprehensive experience in a relevant field such as sustainability, public policy, law, geography, economics, international relations, environmental/social management or responsible business. With previous field experience, ideally gained in the mining or extractives industries, you will have experience of working in the relevant regions (South America, Asia, Africa).

An excellent communicator, you'll be skilled in translating complex information into relevant, concise and effective reporting to internal and external audiences. A self-starter and collaborative team player, you'll thrive working independently while contributing to the work of the team.

You will be required on occasion to travel internationally, including to remote mine locations.
