Help shape one of the UK's fastest-growing environmental markets.
Are you commercially minded with experience working alongside developers, planners, ecologists or landowners? Perhaps you've built relationships within ecology, planning, land agency or environmental consultancy and are looking for an opportunity where your commercial skills can have genuine environmental impact.
We're working exclusively with an ambitious organisation that's transforming how developers meet Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and Nutrient Neutrality requirements across the UK. As demand continues to accelerate, they're looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow strategic relationships with developers, planning consultants, land agents and public sector organisations.
This is a rare opportunity to join a business operating at the forefront of one of the UK's newest environmental markets.
The Opportunity:
- You'll be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, developing long-term client relationships and helping organisations navigate an increasingly complex planning and environmental landscape.
- Working closely with technical specialists across ecology, planning and finance, you'll become a trusted advisor to clients while playing a key role in the company's continued growth.
We're particularly interested in speaking to people who have:
- B2B business development or commercial experience
- A background in ecology, planning, environmental consultancy, land agency or property
- Experience building relationships with developers, housebuilders or infrastructure clients
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex sales cycles
- A genuine interest in environmental markets and sustainable development
- Knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain or Nutrient Neutrality would be beneficial but isn't essential, as full training will be provided.
Why Join:
- Join a business at the forefront of one of the UK's fastest-growing environmental markets.
- Work with a collaborative team of experts across ecology, planning and commercial disciplines.
- Play a key role in helping developers deliver sustainable projects while supporting long-term nature recovery.
- Enjoy genuine career progression as the business continues to scale nationally.
- Be part of an entrepreneurial organisation where your ideas and commercial success will have a real impact.
