Our client is looking for a commercially astute Power Market Software Analyst to join the short-term energy markets practice. This is an exciting opportunity to code on market-leading software and become an expert in GB and European power markets.
Responsibilities
- Join the short-term energy markets practice as a Power Market Software Analyst.
- Code on market-leading software and become an expert in GB and European power markets.
- Work with data and calculations and contribute to tool development.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and develop relationships with industry contacts and clients.
Qualifications
- Relevant BSc, MSc or PhD qualification.
- Solid experience in energy sector (e.g., working with energy companies, technology manufacturers, policy makers, start-ups or industry associations).
- Robust background in working with data and calculations.
- Solid coding knowledge in C#, Python or another similar language.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving mindset.
