You will lead the management of environmental and social (E&S) requirements across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with international lender standards and national regulations for complex international infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate E&S activities across project lifecycles
  • Manage the procurement and review of key E&S deliverables, including Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), Environmental & Social Management Plans (ESMPs), Stakeholder Engagement Plans (SEPs), and environmental and social monitoring programmes
  • Oversee specialist consultants and contractors and support construction teams on E&S compliance and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure alignment with international lender requirements, including IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and ECA expectations
  • Engage with regulators, communities and project stakeholders to manage environmental and social risks effectively

About You

  • Significant experience delivering or reviewing ESIAs for infrastructure, energy, built environment or industrial projects
  • Strong environmental management and regulatory compliance expertise
  • Experience working to IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and international financing requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Consultancy or owner‑engineer background with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Experience on international projects, particularly within emerging markets, is advantageous
