A leading international engineering and compliance consultancy is seeking an experienced UK Fire Engineer to join its London team. This is an opportunity to work with recognised industry specialists, delivering high-quality, practical fire engineering solutions across a varied and high-profile project portfolio.
Responsibilities
- The role involves providing comprehensive fire engineering services throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept design through construction to completion and operation.
- You will develop fire strategies, undertake fire engineering analysis including smoke modelling, radiation and structural assessments, and provide ongoing technical support to clients, design teams and approval bodies.
- The position also includes contributing to proposals and tenders, attending project meetings, carrying out site visits where required, and producing clear, robust technical reports.
Qualifications
- Applicants should hold a degree in Fire Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with demonstrable UK fire engineering experience and be working towards Chartered status.
- Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills are essential, along with a client-focused approach and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Structural fire engineering experience would be advantageous.
