Package: £47,000-£53,000+, depending on experience

Overview
A nationally significant, highly regulated operational organisation is seeking an experienced environmental professional to lead environmental management across a key UK region. This senior role is primarily based at a major site with complex, high‑risk operations, offering the opportunity to influence compliance, drive continuous improvement, and embed a strong environmental culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ISO 14001 systems and prepare sites for audits
- Lead environmental assessments and manage incident reporting
- Provide expert guidance on legislation and best practice
- Collaborate with operational leadership, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure robust environmental governance
Qualifications
- Degree or Level 6 Diploma in Environmental Management
- Post‑qualification experience
- Chartered or working towards chartership
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience in regulated operational environments
- Hands‑on approach, professional integrity, and ability to influence others constructively
