We are seeking a Climate Change Consultant to support clients in reducing their carbon footprint, building climate resilience, and navigating an evolving ESG landscape. In this role, you'll work across diverse projects, collaborating with senior stakeholders, technical specialists and multidisciplinary teams.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Developing corporate sustainability and climate change services for clients globally.
- Leading climate modelling and projection work using recognised datasets.
- Designing climate risk management and mitigation strategies, including science-based targets and TCFD-aligned frameworks.
- Conducting GHG accounting across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, and delivering carbon reporting.
- Preparing and delivering proposals, reports, and client‑ready solutions.
- Tracking ESG and climate trends to shape new service offerings.
- Building strong relationships across the sector and representing the consultancy as a trusted advisor.
- Undertaking occasional fieldwork as part of project delivery.
What We're Looking For:
- A postgraduate qualification in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- 3‑4 years' experience in climate change or sustainability advisory.
- Proven experience in carbon management, net‑zero strategies, and GHG accounting (GHG Protocol).
- Exposure to SBTi target‑setting, TCFD frameworks, and carbon markets is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into compelling narratives and insights.
- Strong project management capability and the ability to work across multiple workstreams.
- Interest in or experience with the mining/resources sector is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to travel when needed.
- Fluency in English; French or Spanish is a plus.
