We are seeking a Carbon Reporting Consultant to join an expert carbon accounting team, guiding clients through the complexities of emissions reporting and compliance.
If you are confident managing Scope 1, 2 and 3 data, and have hands-on experience with key UK and EU frameworks like SECR, CSRD, UK ETS, Climate Change Agreements (CCA), and CHPQA, we would love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead client engagements across a range of carbon accounting and compliance projects
- Deliver tailored advice on regulatory reporting and energy compliance, becoming a trusted advisor
- Support clients in gathering, analysing and validating emissions data for complex reporting obligations
- Stay ahead of evolving legislation, offering proactive insights to ensure clients remain compliant
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver robust solutions through our centralised carbon platform
- Present findings and reports to stakeholders clearly and confidently
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum experience in carbon accounting and sustainability reporting
- Strong grasp of UK and international frameworks (SECR, CSRD, UK ETS, CCA, CHPQA)
- Proven success in a client-facing consultancy or in-house role
- Strong analytical and data management skills (especially Excel)
- Confident communicator who enjoys presenting complex ideas clearly
- Bonus points for experience with CDP, GRI, or SBTi
