An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join its Land Development and Engineering team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure and development projects within a collaborative and experienced engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high‑quality infrastructure designs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop engineering strategies and support implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Secure technical approvals for adoptable works, including agreements such as S104, S38 and S278.
- Ensure designs meet current industry Codes of Practice and relevant regulations.
- Work closely with internal design teams, clients and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication and successful project delivery.
- Support quality assurance procedures, contribute to fee preparation and project budgeting, assist with technical report production, and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical knowledge in highway design, ground modelling, drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including experience with sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
- Experience using industry software such as AutoCAD, PDS or XP Site 3D (or similar), and MicroDrainage WinDES/Flow, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- 5+ years’ experience within a consultancy environment.
- Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
