Allen Speech and Language (ASL) is an independent practice dedicated to serving the pediatric, populations with communication difficulties. We provide commissioned services to educational settings, and clinics across London and the South of England. Our evidence-based services are designed to achieve positive, lasting changes for our clients.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site or hybrid role located in Croydon for a Band 7 Team Lead, Speech & Language Therapist. Part-time working from home if preferred.
The role involves leading a team of therapists, supporting CPD development of the team, managing caseload data and Therapist timetables, providing impact reports to commissioners along with some clinical duties.
Clinical duties include delivering assessments and interventions for children in mainstream schools with EHCPs for Speech Language and Communication Needs.. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing individualized care plans, collaborating with educational and healthcare settings, and providing training and support to junior staff and students.
Role is to start in Autumn Term 2025
*Must have HCPC licence*
Qualifications
- Experience with of supporting EHCPs in schools
- Experience in providing training and supervision to junior staff and students
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Master\'s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field
