We have an exciting opportunity for a Markets Innovation Group (MIG) Solutions Analyst at the A&O Shearman Belfast office. As a MIG Solutions Analyst, you will support the MIG Solutions Senior Manager and Managers in delivering innovative legal technology solutions that improve efficiency and client service. Experience with Power Platform, APIs, relational databases, and integrations is preferred.
About the Markets Innovation Group
The MIG focuses on winning large-scale mandates and developing innovative solutions for clients. It is organized differently from other parts of A&O Shearman, comprising a diverse group of lawyers and tech professionals based mainly in London, USA, and UK, working creatively on market opportunities and engaging with the broader business.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in MIG technologies like ContractMatrix, HighQ, Power Platform, Contract Express, etc.
- Implement legal tech solutions using available technologies, including low code/no code platforms.
- Stay updated on new features of MIG technologies.
- Provide operational support, liaising with teams and clients.
- Support mailbox activities and maintain documentation.
- Deploy solutions, conduct user training, and demonstrate new products.
- Troubleshoot technical issues.
- Develop integrations with workflow technologies like Power Automate.
- Serve as a technical contact for MIG solutions support, creation, deployment, and maintenance.
- Support solution design, architecture, and testing of new technologies.
- Assist in pilot projects for new tools.
Candidate Requirements
- Understanding of APIs, relational databases, and integrations.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Desirable: experience with Mendix or similar low code platforms.
- Ability to read/write JavaScript and C#.
- Experience with legal tech tools like HighQ is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to London and other locations as needed.
