Examples of recent opportunities Senior lawyer providing employment law support to a multinational financial services company on contentious and non-contentious matters across Europe and Asia-Pacific, including common law and statutory employment laws, hiring, immigration, compensation, benefits, workforce reductions, privacy, disability (insurance), and human rights. A generalist employment lawyer role in a social technology company, supporting the business advisory and litigation teams on issues including absences, performance reviews, reorganisations, and redundancies. Senior employment lawyer supporting a global financial institution on investigations including whistleblowing. Mid-level employment lawyer within a media conglomerate advising on cross-border employment issues including hiring, disciplinary actions, reorganisations, and global HR projects. Senior employment lawyer assisting the A&O Shearman employment practice with advice on a key client\'s global HR project. Our criteria Successful applicants will: have a minimum of four years\' post-qualification experience at a top-tier employment law firm; preferably have in-house legal experience at a leading financial services institution or corporate (directly or as a secondee); be proactive in managing their career and professional development; understand the personal and financial considerations of a legal consulting career; maintain transparent, open, and responsive communication with Peerpoint; possess a consultant mindset: professional, flexible, and adaptable; adapt effectively to new environments and deliver excellent client service; have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; be resilient, autonomous, credible, and demonstrate strong commercial acumen; prove project management skills; and hold a practising certificate (or equivalent) to practise law in the UK.
