We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic IT Procurement Manager to lead global sourcing, negotiation, and procurement across our IT and technology categories. Based in the A&O Shearman Belfast office, this is a high-impact role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, drive value, and shape the future of our technology supply chain.
What you will do
- Serve as a procurement business partner to senior leaders across the firm.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and complex negotiations across global IT categories.
- Align procurement strategies with broader business goals, including ESG and innovation.
- Build and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance and value delivery.
- Provide category insights and market intelligence to drive informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with vendor management and risk teams to ensure lifecycle and compliance excellence.
- Deputise for the Procurement Lead (IT) when required.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in a procurement management role, ideally within a professional services or partnership environment.
- Strong track record across IT categories including software, hardware and services.
- Deep understanding of procurement best practices and commercial strategy.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels.
- Analytical, resilient, and comfortable navigating complexity and change.
- MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
