We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our global procurement function.

Based in the A&O Shearman Belfast office, this is a vital role that ensures the smooth execution of procurement processes, maintains data integrity, and supports compliance across a wide range of procurement activities.

What you will do

  • Maintain procurement systems and ensure data accuracy across supplier records, purchase orders, and contract databases.

  • Support end-to-end procurement processes, including requisition review, PO creation, and RFx activities.

  • Monitor procurement KPIs and generate regular reports on spend, compliance, and supplier performance.

  • Assist with supplier onboarding and documentation in line with firm policies.

  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and audit requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve operational queries.

  • Identify and support implementation of process improvements and best practices.

  • Support contract administration and renewal tracking.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in a procurement or operations environment.

  • Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or Ariba is a plus.

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

  • Detail-focused with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

  • Understanding of procurement compliance and documentation standards.
