About the team

Information security is a core aspect of our operations, supported unwaveringly by the Board. Led by our new CISO, our in-house Information Security team is a vital part of our technology services, with capabilities across digital security and cyber defence, aligned with frameworks like NIST, ISO27001, and SOC2.

Our team benefits from the experience of cybersecurity lawyers advising on incidents, providing practical lessons to enhance clients’ cyber risk management and incident response programs.

What you will do

  • Assist in administering and maintaining firewalls and network appliances, ensuring they are up-to-date and securely configured.
  • Support configuration, policy, and rule definition for network security tools, under senior guidance.
  • Monitor network security metrics to identify threats and risks.
  • Perform configuration changes and firmware upgrades on security appliances.
  • Participate in network security improvement initiatives aligned with business goals.

Security & Compliance

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure secure network configurations and address security issues promptly.
  • Support incident response related to network infrastructure.
  • Assist in responding to client queries on network security, escalating as needed.

Documentation & Governance

  • Develop and refine network security documentation, including policies and procedures.
  • Maintain records of configurations, incidents, and changes for compliance and audits.

Development and Advocacy

  • Support security best practices and promote a risk-aware culture.
  • Participate in training to improve network security skills.

What you will have

  • Experience in network security engineering or a related IT/security role.
  • Practical knowledge of core network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, and VPN.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools.
  • Strong communication skills.

You will stand out if you bring

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Industry certifications like CCNP.
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of security frameworks like ISO/IEC 27001.
