Allen Motor Group are currently looking to employ an Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our Kia dealership in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time position offered on a 4-year Apprenticeship Agreement, Monday – Friday 40 hours per week with a basic salary of £16,640 reporting to the Aftersales Manager.

Do I need experience?

No! This is an entry level role with an opportunity to work towards a L3 apprenticeship, so we relish applications from people looking to begin their automotive career with us.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Learning and assisting in diagnosis, testing, servicing and repair of vehicles

2. Learning how to interpret and apply technical service/repair data

3. Building technical skills and knowledge in line with apprenticeship standards

4. Learning how to ensure vehicles comply with all safety and manufacturers’ standards and the associated paperwork that’s required

5. Gaining knowledge of and ensuring compliance with manufacturer warranty procedures

6. Attending college and completing all coursework/examinations including portfolios as required in order to attain the appropriate qualifications within the prescribed time span of the apprenticeship.
