Overview
Allen Motor Group are currently looking to employ a Management Accountant based at our dealership in Northampton. The role is to provide support to the whole group with daily/weekly/monthly departmental financial analysis, including the production of the monthly management accounts, covering multiple sites. The position is offered on a 37.5-hour week, Monday – Friday, paying up to £45,000 depending on experience and will report to the Senior Management Accountant.

Requirements
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant, either fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or newly qualified, to join our dynamic team within the motor trade industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven finance professional to make a real impact in a fast-paced automotive business.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
- Previous motor trade accounts experience would be preferred but not essential
- Previous experience with Kerridge would be very advantageous
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple dealerships/sites
- To be responsible for collating and checking weekly departmental forecasts
- Prepare and submit manufacturer composites
- Assist with internal and external auditors particularly at the end of the year
- Month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and procedures
- Work to create a supportive environment for all departmental managers & encourage communication for any financial matters.
