Business Director | Executive, Permanent & Interim Public Sector Specialist Solutions Architect (Data) Permanent, full-time Local Government pension scheme, 31 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays) Allen Lane is delighted to be supporting a London-based Local Authority in their search for a Solutions Architect . This is a new role in the structure, with a particular focus on data architecture and data platforms . You will play a critical role in leading the definition, design and delivery of modern data solutions and products. You will have excellent Cloud knowledge, either with Azure or AWS . Experience selecting and implementing multiple data-platform patterns β relational warehousing, NoSQL, data-lakes β and matching each to business need. Strong expertise with Azure Cloud services, Power Platform (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Proven experience with a tools and technologies required to enable data-modelling, data catalog, data quality and lineage tools and processes e.g. Deep knowledge of Azure or AWS landing-zones, DevSecOps and modern integration patterns (APIM, messaging, event streaming). Strong understanding of security, data protection and integration patterns. Experience working in agile, iterative or hybrid delivery environments. Familiarity with AI, IoT, RPA or similar concepts, with the ability to contextualise their use in local government settings.
