Are you an experienced Senior HR Business Partner with strong trade union experience looking for your next interim opportunity within local government?
My client is a well-known London borough serving a diverse community and delivering a wide range of essential public services. You will work across both strategic and operational HR matters while helping to develop a collaborative and consistent approach across the newly developing HR Business Partnering team.
The Senior HR Business Partner position is an initial 6-month interim contract paying Β£450 per day, inside IR35. The organisation operates a hybrid working model, with an expectation of 2 days per week in the office in South-West London.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting the development and delivery of business cases from initial proposal through to implementation.
- Building effective relationships with trade unions, including Unite, Unison and GMB, and supporting consultation and engagement activity.

- Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective, consistent and fit for purpose.
- Providing advice and guidance to managers across a broad range of complex HR and employee relations matters.
- Using workforce data and insight to identify trends, inform decision-making and support organisational priorities.
