- Risk and Dependency Management: Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks and dependencies related to time, quality, and cost, ensuring projects maintain effective momentum.
- Prioritisation and Delivery: Manage the day-to-day priorities of the team to ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and meet scope and quality standards. Challenge assumptions where necessary to ensure both technical and business robustness.
- Agile Coaching: Identify, develop, and coach teams on Agile principles, practices, and lean tools and techniques, fostering an Agile mindset across the wider organisation.
- Team Needs Definition: Proactively assess and define the needs of the teams, ensuring they are supported and resourced effectively to meet their goals.
- Single Point of Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for delivery teams, projects, and programmes in relation to central support functions, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues.
Essential
- Experience in technical ownership of projects and products, demonstrating proactive engagement to deliver solutions.
- Proven experience using agile project management methods while understanding the fundamental principles behind what they are trying to achieve and why they are valued.
- Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity, applying both pragmatism and bold direction when appropriate.
- Sound understanding of the digital landscape, open source technologies and modern practices around continuous deployment.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, communicating clear strategy and purpose.
