Are you a project focused HR generalist with a strong background in delivering key HR initiatives and projects. Would you like to work in a dynamic and evolving HR environment for a well-established public sector organisation in Kent? I am working exclusively with Kent Fire and Rescue Service on a permanent HR Project Specialist job where you will oversee cross functional HR projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and to the highest standard. Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) is a forward-thinking, modern fire and rescue service that aims to create a safer future for Kent and Medway. Located close to the town of Maidstone, you will be able to work for the organisation on a hybrid basis, going into the office which is a listed building 3-days per week. There is free on site parking for all staff. This HR Project Specialist paying between £54,818 – £62,554 will have no direct reports but will oversee any seconded or contingent staff brought in to help on projects. The key responsibilities of this permanent HR job include: Overseeing a range of HR projects that require strategic thinking and long-term planning. Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and HR colleagues. Implementing change management strategies across the organisation. Managing the project budgets, ensuring financial control and accountability. Communicating complex and continuous information to a range of audiences. Identifying risks and mitigating risks associated with project delivery. This interesting HR opportunity will allow an HR Professional to use all their knowledge and experience to help the organisation meet its goals. You will need to influence, advise and build strong relationships with senior leaders, using data to help make decisions. It would be beneficial to have experience working in a matrixed environment and ideally have experience working in the public sector.
