An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to join a highly regarded international charity during a key period of financial planning and reporting.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and supporting the organisation through an important budgeting cycle while ensuring the timely delivery of complex donor reporting.
The Opportunity
- Over the next four months, you will take ownership of several key priorities, including:
- Leading the
2027 organisational budgeting process .
- Producing monthly management accounts, forecasts and insightful financial commentary .
- Preparing and reviewing financial reports for international institutional donors , ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
- Developing budgets for grant proposals and funding applications .
- Business partnering with budget holders across the organisation, providing robust financial analysis and support.
- Supporting financial planning, forecasting and reporting across a portfolio of international programmes.
About You
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and build strong relationships across the organisation. You will ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience leading budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Previous experience within the charity, international development or NGO sector.
- Ideally experienced managing institutional donor reporting, grant compliance and proposal budgeting .
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Experience working within a multi‑currency, international environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
